i generally feel healthy, strong and vital as long as i don’t eat certain foods that i have found deplete me. yet, since the beginning of the shutdown, even though i’ve miraculously kept from using food to manage my feelings, i have been experiencing different physical (non covid-like) complaints. dr. dain heer co-founder of access consciousness reminded me recently (in his stunningly affordable 14 days for $14 of co(vid-19)-create with dain) of their tool “truth, who does this belong to?”
“truth, who does this belong to?” is a question designed to clear any discomfort or conditions that we may have unconsciously picked up from someone else energetically (not biologically). without always realizing it, many of us are quite empathic, feeling other people’s feelings and pain. we may even have built our sense of empathy up dramatically as children as a survival tool. if we had a parent who often seemed to be angry or sad, we may have taught ourselves to feel their feelings as if they were our own in order to keep ourselves or others safe.
in the best of times, empathy is a skill that i have had to manage. i have learned to tell the difference between my own feelings and those of others. access consciousness teachings suggest that we can also unconsciously pick up headaches, neck aches, backaches, low energy and other symptoms
from the people around us.
in a pandemic that human tendency may be exacerbated by so many people having so many feelings, especially fear, sadness, anger and loneliness, all around us.
upon re-hearing the tool of “truth, who does this belong to?” (which is meant to be said out loud 3 times every time i am experiencing physical or emotional discomfort), my low energy and some other troubling symptoms that i normally seldom have instantly cleared. i felt remarkably better. i surmise that i was taking on board other people’s pain and discomfort. dr. dain also has a tool for returning that pain to sender with consciousness attached. which means i give back the learning but not the pain.
if you or someone you know is experiencing a lot of weird symptoms right now, what do you have to lose by trying out this strange little exercise? if you want to learn to do it, easiest thing is to install the access consciousness free app (available through your app store). that walks you through it and you can even set it up to remind you to do it.
how does it get even better than this? what else is possible?
